I'm constantly finding myself arguing about great shows like Star Trek, LotR, and Star Wars with roommates that think because they listened to some know-it-all youtuber that they know everything about the universe and any stories outside of what I am now calling "YT Canon" is not to be enjoyed.

It is easy to see how #Trump and #RightWingers get hoodwinked into believing misinformation when we can't think outside of what our favorite uninformed pundit tells us to think.
