I was in charge of the “water yo-yo” game at the local matsuri last night with some of my friends. I think I erased a couple of my fingerprints on my left hand due to making so many of the balloons. The game was incredibly popular and we sold out of balloons before the end of the night.

I had a fabulous Sunday night staying at one of our most famous #Japanese inns here in #YamanouchiTown named #Yoroduya (or sometimes romanized as #Yorozuya ).
The #Momoyama #hotsprings bath there is registered as a national cultural tangible asset in #Japan and is absolutely stunning.

I shot a five minute video from the window of the #SnowMonkey Express #train from #Yudanaka heading towards #Nagano yesterday.
Made a #PeerTube account, uploaded it and it’s available now. #ActivityPub and the #Fediverse are amazing.
The video itself is relaxing , too. I realized it’s got #ASMR qualities.
