Revisiting some drawings for framing. This one is acrylic ink on #Yupo a synthetic paper. Using my measurements drawing process. I dip the pen and draw until the ink runs out. The pattern is a result.

I picked up some #yupo paper a while back and finally played with it a little last night. Takes a little getting used to but I think I'm going to like working with this for #abstract #watercolors. Posting a three-up, and two detail shots from a different experiment I did using the same three colors. Just learning, but these have me hopeful that yupo might help me achieve a particular effect that's eluded me with regular #watercolor paper.

Here's another from the archive (probably 2020). By scoring and folding this yupo paper it creates ridge 'high points'. It's so satisfying to watch the linework slowly reveal itself as you continually plot 1mm lower each pass.
