A1: This week I'm hailing from #yyc / #Calgary, Alberta, Canada. Took the week off to come down, bike around some, visit friends, and just generally have a change of scenery.

I've been thinking about trying indoor climbing for a while. It seems like a good exercise in a few ways that appeal to me: easy to be goal oriented, requires and develops useful functional strength, and can be tricky and thoughtful.

Some downsides though; it's much less accessible than simple outdoor activities like running and biking. But Calgary's MRU has a climbing facility and it's near me, so yesterday I biked over and took a climbing fundamentals class. Loved it!
