This is great! In BC (Canada), Bill 15 makes it so everyone 12 or older can control their own gender markers. The bill also lets parents decide if gender markers appear at all on their child's birth certificate.

@crazyjz I think that for many of them, they cling to the community plan of the 1990s, which was basically build as little as possible near the downtown core and raze chunks of the Westshore for new housing.

First Lisa Helps (who they hated) went against that & started some downtown development (including MMHI) & then Langford had the temerity to turf Stew Young so that plan’s out the window & they desperately need a new one to keep things the way they are. #yyjpoli
