Think this works for #ThrowBackThursday I was originally going to use these for a Macro photo challenge. Along with trying out the new camera and some different focusing styles. I think this one is a composite of three shots with the focus point in different spots. ( I should try to take better notes. ha-ha)
Didn’t use this as I went the “safe" route with a flower.

This morning I caught one of the flower buds open with a puff ball in frame behind it. These yellow flowers seem to open and close fairly quickly. Now that I know I’ve been keeping an eye on the plant. ( follow on from yesterdays post with just the puff ball )

So i had quite a few shots of it on its take off roll. For fun I made some of the shots into a short video.
I have much to learn, but enjoyed stumbling my way through this.

First shots of planes with a #Nikon #Z8 Got lucky and caught this guy leaving #BuckleySpaceForceBase here in Colorado.
Z8 is new to me, is bigger than my Z6II and the auto focus is supposed to be better. Different but better. I’ve got some leaning to do on best way to use. It has airplane auto tracking in the auto focus that worked very well. Even at quite a distance where the plane was small in the frame.
I have a series of shots of the take off. Not great needed a longer lens. #C17
