Zabriskie Point Black And White

The weather was almost perfect, for my 2nd visit to Death Valley. The temps were in the mid 80's but the winds were howling. I didn't have much time to spend here.
If you hit the area at the right time you are treated to a fantastic desert wildflower display. I didn't time it right but I did have a great time anyway. Zabriskie Point II

After catching an early dinner down in Stovetop Wells I drove a short distance out to Zabriskie Point.
The sun was low in the sky and I found the hiker/photographer silhouettes at the tip of the point.
Millions of years of geological history can be seen in the various layers of rock tilted up by earthquake activity. Zabriskie Point
