Today's song is Zangalewa by the makossa group Golden Sounds from Cameroon, led by Jean Paul Zé Bella, a member of Cameroon's presidential guard. They later changed their name to that of the song due to its huge popularity.

Makossa (Duala for Dance) is a genre which is similar to Soukous, but uses more horns and bass rhythms with influences from styles such as Jazz, Highlife and Cuban Rumba.
