I found #Zapier's documentation to be really poor, especially for their "REST Hooks." But glad they have a GUI builder, too, so it was one less thing to literally code when taking on something new like this for the first time.

I cannot find a single solitary use for my #ifttt pro service. I should've invested in #zapier , or #pipedream.

Looking for recommendations on how to publish longer videos on #Mastodon without being limited by the 40MB/clip cap on most instances. Linking to a video hosted on Google drive doesn't generate a preview and isn't playable without leaving the timeline. Any tips on what works better? Ideally, I'd like to automate the video upload via #Zapier and then insert the link to into the #Fediverse post.

Ok, I know I’m very late to the party, but #TIL that #Zapier doesn't yet work with Apple Calendar, but #IFTTT is happy to sync your Apple Calendar events to Google.

My particular use case is to block time on my work calendar anytime I schedule a personal event (or when someone else schedules it via #Calendly).

@mediageek I’ve been using #Obsidian for everything note-taking since May 2021 and I love it. I had only been using #Evernote for document & receipt scans the last few years (with #Zapier saving copies). I just hadn’t bothered to move out until now. Thankfully #Dropbox has caught up a lot here.

Big thing is I have built in a lot of redundancy between the different apps so I don’t feel I’ll lose anything but some time should another company change for the worse the way #Evernote did.

It is completely ridiculous that I need to use #Zapier to sync my Microsoft Outlook calendar to my Google calendar. The lack of native #integrations across #SaaS is really abysmal.
