When they invent a machine that goes about solving problems and findings solutions by utilizing trial-and-error reasoning, insight and inspiration like humans do, in short to be "creative," then I suppose you could say such machines have passed the Turing Test in the deepest sense conceivable, and are for all intents and purposes could be considered alive and conscious in their own right.
