Every #BCorp I’ve discovered in the #UK are existing, reputable companies that have taken a step to formalise their values (#Riverford, #Alpkit, #KrystalHosting, #ZenInternet). It’s an extra badge or stamp that acknowledges their effort and certifies their honesty. Maybe in some cases it is not “enough” - of course there are always improvements to be made in anything… but it is something; something good.

My Internet provider (Zen) on Thursday: "Hey, Openreach are moving towards digital service. Do you still need a landline telephone, or just broadband?"

Me: "Just the broadband please"

Zen, at 2am this morning, via. email: "Here's confirmation that we're turning off all service on Monday. Please give us two working days notice if this is incorrect. Our teams are in the office Mon-Fri".

Me: Swears repeatedly, due to being in the process of recovering from stress at the moment.

I dislike the FrtizBox 7530 but it atleast lets me turn off the wifi... Why can't I have a DSL modem mode only! Seems arbitrary! #ZenInternet I am looking at you!
