Strict #ZeroCovid policy for me. And seeing my working colleagues coughing every few weeks, or suffering from concentration issues proves me right.

I do more sport and eat more healthy compared to pre-pandemic. Life is actually better.

I am just in listening mode but FWIW some of the public health policies in Australia were stringent to an extreme - worse than Canada, US and UK.

Not as bad as CCP/PRC with the terrible #zerocovid.

Given the extreme situation in China, people who are hard core anti- #covid #vaccine should not be treated like crazies. (Not saying you do of course).

Mutual respect is not a characteristic of the USA (and EU) arguments over covid. The Canadian trucker convoy was pretty feisty but they never stormed Parliament or broke into MP's homes.

So overall, whatever folks have to say in answer to your question, I would be inclined to give Australians credit for putting up with some onerous public health policies.

As for the radical patriotism, I don't really know how that question will be addressed. All around the world nationalism is getting pretty jacked up but it seems that the pendulum is maybe swinging the other way down under. #waitandsee
