The US is toughening vehicle standards to require that up to 2/3 of new vehicles sold will be electric by 2032?

Apropos of nothing, here's #BC's new requirement that 90% of all new light-duty vehicles sold in the province as of 2030 will be zero-emissions vehicles.

In three years, over 1/4 new light-duty vehicles will be #ZEV.

#Efuels müssten um auf dem US-Markt erfolgreich zu sein 0 gramm CO2 pro Meile 0 Gramm NMOG und 0 Gramm NOx pro Meile ausstossen. Das sollen mal @c_lindner und @Wissing erklären, wie das möglich sein soll. Und der Phaseout hin zum #ZEV ist in vielen US-Staaten bereits beschlossen.

Tatsächlich war 1990 #ZEV für Zero Emission Vehicle also emissionsfreie Fahrzeuge geplant. Die Widerstände waren so hoch, dass es LEV wurde. Das Ziel ZEV ist aber geblieben. #EFuels sind niemals ZEVs unter gar keinen Umständen.

PS to the Minister of Natural Resources and the Minister of Environment and Climate Change Julie Dabrusin announces a Canada-wide ZEV sales target. The regulation requires that 20% of new vehicles sold in Canada will be zero emission by 2026, 60% by 2030, and 100% by 2035.

Almost went with Take my money... that estimated 10 Mile/kwh is Apterra numbers. Impressive... better than Arcimoto and Electra Meccanica Solo.

BUT... like Aptera, they still need to deliver. Arcimoto and Electra Meccanica are delivering.

So at this point, I will keep my old Nissan Leaf and just put absurd rims on it.
