I decided to pick up #TheSoundOfProvidence, and #ZhuYilong is a very good Wu Xie (at first I thought he was a bit old for the role, but we have jumped ahead in time so it works out).
I know this show is not trying to kill Wu Xie off starting from episode 1 though. Somebody is clowning.

The thread about book titles I just saw go by reminded me that it's really a bit harsh that #ZhuYilong's two most recent movies' English titles are "Lighting Up the Stars" and "Lost in the Stars".

They are *wildly* different and should not be confused, and yet.

Last boost (of self): Presumably shocking no one, #ZhuYilong delivered an incredible performance in his new movie (with really great costars!). Seeing him get so much well-deserved recognition is balm for my fangirl heart.

Anyway! The movie that got me to actually leave the house and set foot in a public place purely for entertainment (with all possible COVID precautions) was Lost in the Stars, a suspense thriller that's a current massive hit in China.

I went because #ZhuYilong is a truly brilliant actor who I fiercely adore, and I have so few chances to actively support his work.

The entire cast is fantastic, and the movie is intense and unrelenting and pretty grim, but it's intricate and beautifully executed.

I got vampire vibes from #ZhuYilong 's new Thermos photoshoot somehow.

Okay. I'll go crawl back into my hole.
