Our students continue to make their rounds in Eastern #NewMexico. Today they are servicing the former USRCRN weather stations. These stations were part of a #NOAA project from the early 2010s that lost their funding. Most of the states took over the maintenance of these stations. We've been keeping them going for a while, and thanks to new funding sources, will be finally updating these stations with new sensors and communications. #NMWx #FediWx #ZiaMet #NMSU

Our students were out in the field today to instrument a new weather station in Eastern #NewMexico. We'll be back to the site soon to add the cell modem and the other sensors that we didn't have on hand. #NMWx #FediWx #ZiaMet #NMSU

Yesterday, we installed data loggers and sensors on 3 meter towers for our new weather stations North and Nortwest of Roswell, NM. These new stations will become part of our ZiaMet weather station network. #NMWx #WxMastodon #FediWx #ZiaMet
