I really like #Forth. But on the #MicroProfessor #MPF1P it is very difficult to enter, because of the small display size. But tons faster as the #Basic of them. It remains on my todo list to make a video about.

Now I'm curious who knows the #KramerMC, or more uncommon who has ever seen one in real life.
At the end of the 1980s, a book by #ManfredKramer was published by the military publishing house of the GDR. It described how to build your own computer based on the 'Zilog' #U880 CPU. The book goes into many details, including monitor listings, circuit board layouts and technical details.
The example on the pic comes from the person who developed the circuit board layouts at the time. It has a personal dedication from Manfred Kramer and so it appears to be No. 2 of the KramerMC. In parts it is still usable, at least its display preparation is working again after extensive repairs.

my CP/M 2.2 system. It is a nice environment with an integrated fullscreen editor. Performance seems ok. Good manual too. I like it this far😃

Today I got a small bag of 7.3728 MHz oscillators, so time to upgrade my small budgetronics and double the speed 😃 First attempt trying to overclock the Z80A failed (as expected), so the Z80 was replaced by an 8 MHz part.

Did my own "standard" benchmark, an ASCII Mandelbrot plot, in BASIC. MS BASIC in CP/M on 7.4 MHz Z80 is 155 seconds. The AgonLight BBC BASIC does this in just 17 seconds! That's like a Z80 at 67 MHz - that is, really fast 😃

Tested my skills in C and Pascal, writing a small utility to make a sorted directory list in CP/M. Seems that the Turbo Pascal version is faster than the Hi-Tech C version.
