People interested in #zine culture should probably read this book. It covers a lot of ground from scifi zines via music fandom (its main focus) to current zine culture in the UK. The last part was to me the most interesting because it addresses the diversity of #zinesters better.

I guess i didn't realize how many of my direct zine sales came from twitter. A few weeks ago, I deleted all my tweets and the link in my bio (but kept my account... until the other day), and since then I haven't had a single direct sale from my website. Are other zinesters seeing the same thing?

Note: I sell most of my stuff through distributors, so I'm really not hinting that you should order my zines or anything.
