I'm on the second episode and I'm so far I'm impressed.

It hits the pandemic viewing sweet spot for me of being engaging but not stressful. (YMMV)

I'm watching The Prague Mysteries / Zlociny Velké Prahy (🇨🇿 2021 Tubi.com) & so far it is *fascinating*.

The lead detective is haunted by his demons, there's conflict with his step-daughter, etc., it's a bit of a sausage fest (but not completely), etc.

But! It's set in the 1920s. The demons the lead is haunted by are from his detective work in WWI. It engages with class warfare & history. It's sexed up but not sexy and it can be very dark, but in neither case gratuitously
