@chameleon_muse Very nice.
I have been harvesting snow peas and lettuce.
I only just planted my squash seedlings on Thursday. It has been so dry, and then we didn't have enough black plastic. But it's all done now.
We got almost 2 inches of rain over the last week so I put down straw for mulch on my peppers and tomatoes.
My broccoli has been loving the cooler weather and there are lots of little heads.

Carrots!
These are Bolero from Johnny's.
I used pelleted seeds and planted them and the peas on March 23rd.

I have never had broccoli and lettuce look this good.
The broccoli is a heat tolerant variety from Burpee called Sun King. This is my first year growing it.
The lettuce is New Red Fire. I use pelleted seeds from Johnny's.
Both were seeded indoors on 2/14 and planted outside in early April.
There's one of the splitters that the King of Hoses and Splitters sets up.
Potatoes are in the rest of the bed.

Strawberries are planted! It took all three of us to level the bed, fill it (with dirt from another bed that needs to be refreshed), and some existing and a lot of new plants (bare root) planted.
Now I'm ready for bed because it stopped raining and we have more to do!

Hey, space is space, wherever we can find it!
On 15 Apr, I transplanted the leggy tomatoes to bigger pots. (See https://www.flickr.com/photos/charjtf/52820156249/in/album-72177720307379263/.)
Two weeks later, they're much bigger and nowhere near as leggy. (See https://www.flickr.com/photos/charjtf/52872464621/in/album-72177720307379263/.)
Now if it would only stop raining so that I can finish...
PS All of this year's photos are at https://www.flickr.com/photos/charjtf/albums/72177720307379263.
Forgive the terrible pictures. We've experimented with starting seeds indoors this year. Didn't know if any would take. Our tomatoes and peppers have taken very well, and there is more celery than we know what to do with!! Just repotted the tomatoes to give them more room to breathe. Strawberries are taking their sweet time but we see little green shoots!
Biggest trouble is we only have one South facing window, so it's taking over the living room. Good thing it's a big window!

It’s the Spring Equinox! Here are a few photos from our #CrocusLawn I took this afternoon. All three species are on full display 🥰 Keep the #pollinators fed!

I started some seeds today. Peppers, tomatoes, eggplant. Probably too early for my zone for the tomatoes and eggplant, but I forgot to check the timing until after I was done 🤷♀️ Here's hoping! #gardening #zone6a
Productive weekend!
- Finally cleaned up the #asparagus
- Dealt with the #raspberries that went cRaZy last year ✂️
- Got some books on #goats
- Witnessed my first and second hints of spring: A robin, and an asparagus shoot. 🤩

Garden pic of the day. Renown Unique tulips in our water-hose faucet garden. I can’t plant anything there throughout the growing season. So tulips finish up right about the time we get the hoses out and it works out. #gardeningmastodon #gardening #zone6a

nice #garden hack to tag with your grow zone. looks like I'm in #zone6a as well.
I've done similar with #hamradio tweets to tag my "grid square", which is #EN82 or #EN82dg . More geographical, less climatological, but basically the same idea.
I wonder how much grow zones will mutate due to climate changes, and practically also due to technical innovations like hoop houses and cold frames.
