@TheQuinbox I like the clarity of TeamTalk, but I have moved mostly to #Discored or #Zoom.

Die @informatik hat abschließend zu Protokoll gegeben, dass man das Problem zwar schon verstehe, aber nichts daran ändern werde.

Denn erstens sei #Zoom die einzige Möglichkeit, zuverlässige Videokonferenzen anzubieten, und zweitens haben ihnen ein #Datenschutz-"Experte" bestätigt, dass Zoom unproblematisch sei.

Wie gesagt: Wir brauchen eine Politik, die solche Eingriffe in die informationelle Selbstbestimmung reguliert.

@WiseWoman @timbray We use #Jitsi in our company and meetings with approximately 140 ppl were no problems after we got a two server setup. I can't complain.

The only issues I get are with #Teams (nasty) and #WebEx (horror). Almost no experience with #Zoom yet (severe privacy issues).

the very last time i pushed jitsi as a solution, the person said, ''i will go on using #zoom and if zoom fails me i will go use jitsi. jitsi will always be there.'' it was a wednesday.

people literally host libre software as a second thought. the only proprietary software that i tend to prioritize are video games.

Wir haben eine Diskussion mit der @informatik gestartet, weshalb die Nutzung von #Zoom für ihr Partizipations-Projekt "Common Grounds Forum" hochproblematisch ist – die Erfüllung des Wunsches nach demokratischer Teilhabe wird an die Akzeptanz der Nutzungsbedingungen des Konzerns gebunden.

Gleichzeitig rufen wir junge Menschen, die schon Zoom benutzen, zur Bewerbung auf. Vielleicht ist es ein Weg, dass #Digitalpolitik genau das zukünfitg regulieren kann!
