New Electric Masada was superb last night at Great American Music Hall. Every musician on that stage wowed, and Zorn's ability to juggle conducting both improv and written material and playing simultaneously is like watching brain neurons fire in real time. crowd response was ecstatic. SF not dead.

Zorn holding up all kinds of different colored/lettered signs, folks raising their hands, different people wearing headbands at times and seemingly taking over the conductor role. Guess you need a robust communication system with dense music with lots of musicians.
