Finished another #inq28 mini. No idea who or what she is, nor what retinue she belongs to yet — vaguely some kind of combat servitor or arco-flagellant.
The entire build was inspired by a #Warmachine mini I found in my local hobby shop's used mini grab box. Only the torso is from the original mini, with various #AdeptusMechanicus bits glued on.
Painted in my interpretation of the #ZornPalette using #ArmyPainter paints.

An oil underpainting using the Zorn palette plus Prussian blue, because the beautiful reference photo has a background based on Prussian blue and a green based on Prussian blue easily mixed using yellow ochre, ivory black, and titanium white. Later this week I will essay an alla prima approach to the face.

Not a mini, but in the spirit of taking #HiveFleetLotan seriously, I'm making myself a #ZornPalette reference.
Sure I could look one up, but pretty sure none of them are using Citadel paints for mixing. This way I have a map to navigate the colorspace and how to get where I want to go when mixing paints.
