Decided to try some Solo Traveller. So making four characters and will see how big of a ship they can afford. I figure they can have up to 50% of their ship a loan.

Of course, they are likely to need to hire a few more for the crew, depending on ship size. One ship share (50 tons) so far.

I do think Zozer’s Solo [Traveller] is a great guide, even if you planning on GMing a trad game. It gives the general cycle for four styles of campaign and lots of idea and encounter tables. I think it serves as an excellent primer for what to do with Cepheus/Traveller.

@mattb I have two dozen journals, many stalled due to myopia re:next steps. #Zozer got me past that and moving again. Only flaw: I hardly ever put out figures or roll direct confrontations. Still #SoloRPG, tho, and fun!

@AetherEgo Sorry def wasn’t trying to win age thing. I meant only to show I don’t come easily to #SoloRPG. I miss having to please my gamers with plot twists and vast vistas of wonderful scenery.
I got the hang of asking myself Q after Q: what happens now?
But I have 30+ journals going, most at a wall. The #Zozer idea from #CepheusEngine unplugged me. Invent a plan for what you want to do next. Rate it. Roll 2d6. Succeed or Fail, journal what happened. Make a new plan.
